Dr K Balagopal, founder of Human Rights Forum and long time activist fighting to expose state terrorism and the violation of rights, passed away after a heart attack in Hyderabad at the young age of 52. In the past three decades, Balagopal showed himself as a tireless crusader to expose the fake encounters organized by successive governments in Andhra Pradesh, as well as in other parts of India.
