Providing important information on communist movement

Sir,

I am writing to thank the Party for the report on the two day school held in New Delhi on the Indian Communist Movement. It is inspiring to see that such a school was held right in the Institutional area of the heart of the imperial capital; this is one of the many countless stirrings across the length and breadth of this country. It is my fervent belief that all these will one day come together and turn into a massive tsunami to usher in a new world, a new communist order, a world in which the working people will be the true masters of their destiny. A time will soon come when the people of India will say enough to their brown skinned colonial masters who have turned them into their chattel, and on whose backs they wish to emerge as an old fashioned imperial power with its own sphere of influence, as the lords and masters of all they see. Such a new state of affairs would need to be built on the most scientific principles, and those based on a modern rendition of Marxism-Leninism which is the backbone of the theory for organizing the working people, the most revolutionary class at this time in history. It is very heartening to see that the teachers at the school and the students at the school did not consider any subject to be either beneath their dignity, or too lofty for their understanding. They took on the challenge to study, analyse and assess the trends in the communist movement. They identified the harmful elements that pervade the movement, not the least of which are conciliation to social democracy, which has led to the near complete emasculation of the movement in parts of the country and sections of the society, and those of Mao-Zedong thought, which sought to promote the thesis of exceptionalism in the sphere of social science. By putting forward the thesis of conciliation between class interests as a dynamic in society, Mao-Zedong thought has led to the emergence of parties under the banner of Communism which have carved out a niche for themselves in the existing framework. Such trends have provided a lifeline for the bourgeois system, and has spread harmful illusions that their system has the potential to take society forward, but in practice the bourgeois system has become a mill stone around the necks of the peoples the world over.

I am writing to commend all the teachers and the participants on their enthusiasm and tireless work, and the Central Committee of the Communist Ghadar Party of India for its farsightedness in initiating the programme of Communist schools. The working peoples can take heart that with the kind of fiercely dedicated leadership that the Party is offering, the tide will turn in their favour sooner rather than later.

Sincerely,
A. Narayan, Bengaluru
