A meeting was organised on 28 May 2008 in Sirsa by the Nepali Jan Adhikar Suraksha Samiti (Bharat) to discuss the significance of the Constituency Assembly elections held in Nepal. More than a hundred people participated in the meeting.

The meeting was chaired by Pitamber Sharma. Spokespersons of several organisations - Com Jaichand of CPI, Com Narbhinder Singh of Bhagat Singh, Vichar Manch, Com Dunichand of Lok Raj Sangathan - presented their views.
