Sir,

I am writing to express my gratitude to the Central Committee of the CGPI for publishing the communique of the 13th plenum of the CC. This communique aptly summarizes the world situation and lays out clearly the tasks of the movement.

There are many issues of significance which are described in some detail in this communique. It points out that the world capitalist system is mired in crises that manifest themselves in the economic sphere and also in the political sphere. In the former this manifests itself in boom and bust cycles, and migration of vast sums of finance capital from one sector to another, leaving in its wake utter devastation of various sectors of the economy. This causes havoc to the lives of millions of people across the world. 

It may be recalled that while the bourgeois reactionary media celebrated the collapse of the Soviet Union, our party was acutely aware that those events would be the harbinger of further disasters to the peoples of those countries as well as the peoples of the world in general. History has proven us right. Those events have paved the way for the forces of imperialism to orient themselves towards world conquest, a dream that they hope to realize. All the activities of the bourgeoisie since that time, the wars of conquest in Afghanistan and Iraq, show just this.

Given this scenario, the communique has come at the right time.  It restores to the centre stage the demand of the peoples of the world that socialism can and must be established today, if there is to be a bright future for mankind.  It calls upon the communists and the working people to take up this challenge. I thank the Central Committee one more time for its initiative in this regard.
