Main demands

1. Those who labour must have the right to live with human dignity
2. Immediate halt to the exploitation and police oppression of workers
3. The state must organize for the education of children of workers and free health services for their families
4. Workers must be given BPL ration cards
5. Bring into effect a new rate list for rickshaw pullers
6. Provide for covered rickshaw stand, drinking water and toilets for rickshaw pullers.
