Condemn brutal killings of communists in police firing in Andhra Pradesh

At least six peasant activists were brutally shot dead and dozens injured in lathi charge and firing by the Andhra Pradesh police in Mudigonda Village of Khammam District of Andhra Pradesh on July 28, 2007. The firing took place during a state wide bandh called by CPI, CPI(M), TDP, and other parties and dozens of mass organizations to demand implementation of the Congress government's election promise of giving land to the landless. People's Voice condemns the Andhra Pradesh Government for the brutal killings of these peasant activists and expresses its heartfelt sympathies to the families of those killed.
